Emil Seehusen is a Danish architect, with an academic degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts, School of Architecture , and Southern California Institute of Architecture, and the professional titles of architect MAA (Danish title), and member of ARB (architectural Registration Board, UK) and UK Part 3 Architect (UK), and the Danish association of architectural firms, DANSKE ARK. He is owner of device.agency, and is currently based in Los Angeles.

He is a research fellow at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles where he is developing a research project on new modes of pedagogy. 

Emil is a teaching assistant professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts, KADK, with several years of experience teaching architecture at higher education; Including having been co-head of the master program; Architecture, Space and Time, and lead responsible for teaching at 2nd and 3rd year bachelor at Inst. for Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape, at the Royal Danish Academy, School of Architecture.



Previously he worked as an architect at Foster + Partners in London, and worked on several high profile projects, including design work on 551 w 21th st, New York.
